Seniors Play Last Regular Season Game at MRU!

Congratulations to the Boys Varsity Baseball Team and the Girls Varsity Softball Team on their wins last night over Otter Valley! Special Congrats to the 11 seniors that played their last regular season games here at MRU.  Varsity Baseball beat OV 7-5 and Varsity Softball beat OV 18-14!

MRU wins Division II Southern Conference Championship

Congratulations to the MRU Men’s Golf Team! Division II Southern Vermont Champions! First time ever in school history!!! Johann Russell was a medalist shooting a 83.  Ben Smith shot a 85!

Two time World Cup Champion Kristine Lilly to Speak at Paramount Theatre

On Monday, May 18, Vermont Orthopedic Clinic and Summit Futbol Club present 2 time World Cup champion and 2 time Olympic gold medalist Kristine Lilly on stage at the Paramount Theatre. Kristine had over

350 appearances for the US team and 130 goals and 105 assists. This FREE event will start at 7:00PM and is open to the public. Athletes of all ages and their parents are welcome to attend.

Ms. Lilly will talk about her early days as a youth player as well as her collegiate and professional career along with video highlights.  There will also be a question-and-answer period with the audience towards the end of the night.

“This is a great way to build up the excitement for the 2015 Woman’s World Cup starting in June.  Based on the positive feedback and enthusiasm we had during the Men’s World Cup, we are more than happy to once again broadcast

World Cup soccer on the big screen,” says Paramount Theatre’s Programming Director Eric Mallette.

Regardless if you are male or female, soccer player or basketball player, to be able to hear from an athlete who has competed on the world stage is a wonderful opportunity.
